The Ismaili Center Network Is Expanding to Georgia. The recent Texas visit of His Highness Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, the 50th hereditary Imam (spiritual leader) of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims, highlighted the continued growth of the Ismaili community’s presence in North America. During his visit to Texas, several cities including Houston, Sugar Land, Dallas, Carrollton, Euless, Plano, and Lewisville, recognized him with ceremonial honors such as Keys to the City and official proclamations. These are symbolic gestures commonly used by local governments to recognize distinguished visitors or community leaders. The visit also celebrated the opening of the Ismaili Center Houston, a 150,000-square-foot campus that includes a prayer hall, classrooms, educational spaces, exhibition galleries, gardens, and facilities designed to host cultural and interfaith events. It is one of only a handful of Ismaili Centers in the world and serves as a regional hub for the Ismaili community across the southern United States. A Brief History The Ismailis are a branch of Shia Islam whose history dates back more than 1,000 years. They trace their leadership through a continuous line of hereditary Imams descended from Ali, the cousin and son-in-law of the Prophet Muhammad. Unlike many other Muslim communities, Ismailis believe the Imam is a living spiritual guide for their community. Today, that role is held by Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, who succeeded his father as Imam in 2025. Over the last century, the Aga Khan family has established an extensive international network of institutions through the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). These organizations work in areas such as education, health care, architecture, economic development, disaster relief, and cultural preservation in dozens of countries. Alongside these development organizations, the community has also built Jamatkhanas (houses of worship) and several large Ismaili Centers intended to serve as religious, educational, and cultural gathering places. Now Georgia Georgia has now become part of that long-term vision. A major Ismaili Jamatkhana and community campus in Johns Creek has received approvals to move forward. Once completed, it is expected to serve Ismaili Muslims throughout the southeastern United States, much like the Houston center serves Texas and surrounding states. The project represents one of the most significant Ismaili developments in the Southeast and places Georgia among a small number of North American locations selected for a major regional Ismaili institution. What This Means for Georgia The Johns Creek campus is expected to: * Serve as a regional religious and cultural center for Ismaili Muslims throughout the Southeast. * Host religious services, educational programs, cultural events, and community gatherings. * Attract visitors from multiple states. * Become a permanent institutional presence in Georgia for generations to come. Regardless of perspective, the significance is clear; Georgia is becoming home to one of the most prominent Ismaili campuses in North America, joining locations such as Houston in serving as a regional center for the Ismaili Muslim community.

Just when I think I’ve heard it all! The Cemetery Foundation of Georgia LLC which somehow doesn’t exist in the Secretary of States website has gotten the blessing of Gwinnett County to put a Muslim “green focused” cemetery at 195 Huff Drive in Lawrenceville Georgia. What that means is the body is unembalmed, wrapped in a white shroud and put back into the Earth to disintegrate. Basically composting bodies. Those bodies will be buried facing Mecca! They are asking for 6700 spaces and said this is the only logical use because every other plan that has been presented has been turned down. It is in a flood plain and near a railroad. The best plan would be to ship the body to Mecca. According to Georgia SB 146, They can’t be within 100’ of well water or in a flood plain. This is a new law that took affect this month.

BREAKING: Thune Explains Why Senate Is Unlikely to Pass SAVE America Act Senate Majority Leader John Thune reacts to mounting pressure to ‘nuke’ the filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act through reconciliation. "Well, if I thought there was a path to getting a positive result or a positive outcome, I'd want to do just about anything, as I think we all would here, in favor of the SAVE America Act. The folks that have consistently blocked it and voted against it are all the Democrats in the Senate. I think that's unlikely to change, and it's also very unlikely that Senate Republicans are going to vote to get rid of the legislative filibuster. We've had five votes on it. We have voted on the entire SAVE America Act. We have voted on voter ID as a separate issue. We have voted on voter ID and requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. We've had a vote on boys competing in girls' sports. We've now had five votes on the SAVE America Act or individual components of it, and not one of them got a single Democrat. To me, the issue here is the Democrats, and we ought to be going after them for opposing something that's popular across the country, not just with Republicans, but with Democrats as well." Enough excuses. Nuke the filibuster and secure America’s elections!

Congress has successfully enacted the NDAA on a bipartisan basis for the last 65 years, and this year should be no different. But Democrats have decided this Congress that they want to play political games with our national security.

Sen. Ossoff: If the President calls Georgia's senators illegitimate, he is calling Georgia's voters illegitimate. Donald Trump tried to commit voter fraud in Georgia when he badgered Brad Raffensperger to "find" him the exact number of votes he needed to win in a state he had lost.
