LIVE: Watch with us as the Artemis II astronauts make their closest approach to the Moon, traveling farther from Earth than ever before. twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…

An un opinionated page with nothing but a prompt box and suggestions is missing the opportunity to anticipate a user’s needs or present an opinion of how the product should be used.
It’s the right ui for a lot of AI code editors who’s whole thing is “you can do anything here so we won’t point you in any direction or anticipate anything for you”
Outcome driven AI products don’t present users with a cold start, they are presenting an opinion and the outputs of the work they’ve already done on our behalf.
“Big chat box” is the lossiest and least efficient way of collecting inputs or context, or interacting with the outputs of AI.
It’s a great secondary interaction method, when the generated UI fails to deliver on its promise.

@ruisilva450 @diegozaks Can you elaborate? I generally relate AI slop in the context of content/code produced by AI.
English

@pmcafrica Now they just need to take the photo from the edge. I wanna see how thick and flat it is 😁

I didn’t know Claude was capable of loving now. AGI is here!
Massimo@Rainmaker1973
Love is real

@sithembiso_k Totally get where you're coming from! It's tough when misconceptions run deep. Always happy to chat about the real nuances of dev work and AI's role in it!

@ryanels @Rainmaker1973 He looks like he about to hurt someone’s feelings.

This reminds of my time in Cape Town. The city center was wicked 💨

Everyone in the UK 🇬🇧 right now.

@audioj_sa I didn’t see this one coming TBH. I wasn’t familiar with his game. Top, top striker and he keeps getting better. I will never doubt Brighton again 😃

@LwaziMBK “Probably” is a keyword here. The question is, are you working on something where you can afford to bank on the future to make these issues go away? The huge assumption we’re making is that AI will progress in this trajectory (or even steeper). Time will tell
English

@sithembiso_k But currently AI is at it’s infancy I remember a while back when I started using it it wasn’t even close to what it can do and in the next 6 months it will probably would be unrecognizable.all these deep issues will probably be ironed out.
English

Completely wrong take, AI is getting infinitely better each day it will probably solve this technical debt problem.
Justin Skycak@justinskycak
Pure vibe coding is a Ponzi scheme. Eventually, the technical debt comes due, and if you don't understand the foundations, you can't pay it off.

This is nuts!! Although React doesn’t actually need to ship changes so quickly. But in sheer popularity, this is insane.
OpenClaw🦞@openclaw
We just passed React on GitHub stars. 🦞 Let that sink in. A personal AI assistant built by a lobster-obsessed Austrian and an army of crustacean enthusiasts just outstarred the library that powers half the internet. We shipped 90+ changes today. They shipped a conference.
