“We are suffering from two wars. The war of bombs, and the war of rats.” Rats have overrun Gaza's displacement camps – biting children as they sleep, spreading disease and destroying what little people have left.

🚨HEARTBREAKING: A former teacher in Gaza, now 54, has lost everything in the ongoing israeli genocide, his home, his dignity, and two of his sons. Today, he spends his days carrying water just to survive. In Al-Zaytoun, Gaza City, and across the strip, clean water is scarce. All 2 million people are facing a man-made, systematic water crisis, where access to a basic human right is being weaponized.

Baby Yaman Nayef Samaro was born into heartbreak, arriving just one day after his father, Nayef Samaro, was shot and killed by Israeli forces outside the hospital where his wife was giving birth to their first child during a military raid on Nablus. Instead of welcoming his son into the world, Nayef’s family was left mourning his loss.

It’s disturbing to see a Catholic convent & school in Yaroun, southern Lebanon, demolished by Israel just because of whatever excuse they give. Christian Zionists: loud on Israel’s security, quieter when ancient Christian sites get wrecked. Just imagine the global outrage if Muslims or Christians bulldozed a synagogue.

💢 At least 41 people were killed and 89 wounded in Israeli attacks across Lebanon over the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry said, bringing the total since Israel escalated its campaign on March 2 to 2,659 killed and 8,183 injured. Two back-to-back strikes on motorcycles in Semmaaiyeh (Sour district) killed three people in recent hours, while additional strikes hit buildings in Doueir, Deir Zahrani, and Zawtar Sharqieh (Nabatieh), as well as Srifa and Qana, where a vehicle strike wounded several passengers per L’Orient Today. Israeli forces also said they carried out new large-scale demolitions in Bint Jbeil, a town already heavily destroyed in recent weeks. Airstrikes continued on Yater, Majdal Selm, and Shehabieh, amid Israel’s sustained campaign of bombardment and systematic destruction across southern Lebanon. 🎥 Local journalist @HadiHtt shares updates on the attacks. An Israeli strike on Tayr Debba, a coastal town south of Tyre in southern Lebanon, killed a pregnant woman and her young daughter, L’Orient Today reports. A visiting woman was also killed, while the husband and another person were injured.

Israel also continues to hold approximately 34 square kilometers beyond agreed withdrawal lines and has blocked repairs to electricity, water, and sewage infrastructure. Aid and movement restrictions remain severe: Aid entry ▪️ Only ~37.5% of agreed humanitarian aid has entered — ~225 trucks per day vs. 600 agreed ▪️ Fuel deliveries at just 14.7% of required levels Rafah crossing ▪️ Rafah crossing fully closed on the reported day ▪️ Only 4,016 of 13,400 planned crossings carried out (~29.9%) ▪️ Medical and humanitarian travel remains severely restricted

Surgeons and human rights organisations have reported that Israeli-made weapons used in Gaza are packed with tungsten micro-cubes and other fragmentation materials designed to maximise civilian casualties. The shrapnel consists of tiny, sharp-edged metal cubes (typically 2–4mm square) often made of tungsten. Unlike traditional explosives that rely on the casing for fragmentation, these weapons use specialized "fragmentation sleeves" to spray thousands of cubes at high velocity. Doctors describe "pinhole" entry wounds that are barely visible but cause catastrophic internal destruction, shredding organs, blood vessels, and bones. A high percentage of victims are children, whose smaller bodies suffer more extensive disruption from even tiny fragments. Medical teams have reported injuries consistent with DIME Munitions, which use a tungsten alloy to create a powerful blast that "slices" through flesh and bone, often resulting in amputations. These weapons contain tungsten, which is considered a potential carcinogen. Survivors face an increased long-term risk of developing cancer. Doctors have documented the use of white phosphorus, which causes deep chemical burns that can reach the bone and continue burning as long as they are exposed to oxygen.

⭕️ BREAKING: Two brothers, both under 10, killed just weeks apart — each while gathering firewood in Gaza 9-year-old Adel al-Najjar was shot and killed by Israeli forces Tuesday while collecting firewood in Khan Younis, according to Nasser Hospital via the Associated Press. He was about 400 meters (1,312 feet) from the “Yellow Line” separating Israeli-controlled areas from the rest of Gaza. His younger brother had reportedly been killed under similar circumstances in the same area just a month earlier. At least 226 children and 179 women have been killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza since the start of the so-called ceasefire, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. 🎥 via Ibrahim Salama

Our new report finds that Israel uses water as a weapon of collective punishment against Palestinians in #Gaza, by destroying infrastructure and imposing restrictions on aid access. Read the report: doctorswithoutborders.ca/palestine-isra…

An Israeli court has extended the detention of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, director of Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital, who has been held for more than 450 days after being abducted by Israeli forces during the genocide, amid reports of severe torture. qudsnen.co/share/67628?la…

Israel has been systematically destroying the essential infrastructure for life in south Lebanon. These solar panels supply electricity (that also powers a water pump) to the village of Debel. This is a Christian village surrounded by Israeli troops whose residents have refused to leave, and where a soldier was filmed destroying a statue of Jesus. The Israeli military then made quite a show of apologising and replacing it, only to come back days later and do this. Just yesterday I was in Tibnine, where a nearby electricity substation that supplies it and 27 other locations was hit by a direct Israeli air strike. Even outside areas where it is occupying and detonating homes, Israel seeks to prevent return by making life unliveable for civilians in south Lebanon.
