Our study showed a higher burden of #ClonalHematopoiesis in #WTC first responders. I hope this study raises more awareness on the health challenges they face, and leads to further screening in a larger cohort. Thank you @Amitvermamds for always being an amazing mentor!

Closure is a myth. Grief doesn't evaporate—it waxes and wanes. The purpose of grief is not to cause pain. It's to keep memories of loved ones alive and remind us to make the most of our time. Moving forward after loss is not about erasing sorrow. It's about gaining perspective.

#TipsForNewDocs Strive to glean a nonmedical fact from every patient. From a 70M, I learned that he met his wife at the age of 5 and married her at 18. Just one new fact and, a patient with a disease becomes a person! #kittlesonrules

It was lovely hearing @KB_Kirkland give a talk at @NNECOS_ONCOLOGY on the role of narrative practice in our clinical work. Thought provoking idea of how our expectation of perfection may contribute to moral injury.
