Dominic Santarelli dominated the MLB Draft Combine. Now Wisconsin's top prep baseball player faces the biggest decision of his career: MLB Draft or LSU?

LSU Fans are going to love Dominic Santarelli. Caught up with him before the draft and asked what's the biggest thing he's focused on for his development these next few years. "I just want to win."

Santarelli led the Lancers to three straight appearances in the WIAA state finals, winning it all in 2025. As a senior, he slashed .562/.717/1.125 with 22 extra-base hits (9 HR), scoring 68 runs in 32 games for St. Joseph Catholic Academy. His 1.842 OPS led the state. He did all this while transitioning into becoming an asset in center field and an uptick in athleticism led to 46 steals this spring for the 6-foot-1, 225-pound slugger. Congratulations to Dominic Santarelli for earning the 2026 Prep Baseball Wisconsin Player of the Year Award.
