@AmeliaHammy How is Michigan landlocked and Ontario isn't? I grew up in "not land locked" Sarnia On, 1 mile away directly across the St. Clair River from Port Huron Michigan...which is landlocked? Did some one put up a force field or something after I moved away?

@rosiebellmoo What matters is if you enjoyed the video, and if the react was entertaining. If people feel you should watch others then they can go through you discord suggestion/approval process, and wait for you to be in the mood for more 40k content. Chat can only suggest, never demand.

To weird purists that have issue with me watching brickys video as someone new to discovering Warhammer... I can enjoy multiple videos from multiple people. There isn't a right or wrong way to be introduced to something. Yes he says his older videos had inaccuracies. That doesn't meant you get to go around and police people that they didn't enjoy their introduction correctly. It puts a bad taste in others mouths when you demand they enjoy things only the way you do. I had this issue when enjoying scp fandom things the same way. " Oh only x y and Z are what we approve to be watched . If you watch another person you will be exiled" Just. Please know I'm not listening to that. It's better no one does in any fandom as it takes away from it as a whole. Thanks

@Magnus_9_IOI @KitsuneroVT I miss message boards. Discord isn't as good for multiple conversations when it is just 1 tab that covers 5+ things.

I remember when a lurker was just someone who found an internet forum, and read all the posts, but didn't interact yet. Back then, it was actually seen as polite to lurk before interacting, as a way to "read the room." "Lurk more" was a response to people who came into spaces where they clearly didn't understand the culture enough to participate. I guess Twitch thinks a lurker is something completely different.

Not to forget that lurkers usually account for ~60-80 percent of your viewers. But lurkers don‘t watch ads. Lurkers don’t make them any money. That’s why they are negative. This disconnect between the CEO and his own website is crazy.

@KitsuneroVT I thought they did watch adds, unless they use an add blocker or get hit with a gift sub since the gift algorithm seems to target lurkers and bots.
