A huge congratulations to Josephine who competed in the Barrie Legion’s Speech competition this weekend. Her amazing speech won first place in the junior division. Great job Josephine! Your SJP family is so proud of you.

Tomorrow- November 14 is World Diabetes Awareness Day. Wear blue to show support for those who live with a diabetes diagnosis.

Thank you to Ms. Kelly’s class for leading our Remembrance Day assembly and to all classes that provided beautiful artwork for the gym. Lest we forget.

Thank you to the amazing generosity of our school community, our grade 7 students helped to fill the Food Bank van with 1265 pounds of food. Thank you to the SJP community who all pitched in to ensure those in our community will have enough food @BarrieFoodBank @SMCDSB

Thank you to all families who have contributed to our “We scare hunger” food drive. We are living the gospel as we share with those in need in our community. Donations will continue to be accepted until the end of the week. Let us ensure no one in Barrie goes hungry.

Thank you to Ms. Ovens class for getting into the spirit of Thanksgiving. They walked to Zehrs to deliver their blessing bags to the Barrie Food Bank. What a great reminder that this holiday is about both Thanks and Giving!

What a beautiful day to run in support of the Terry Fox Foundation. Students showed determination to run for all of those affected by cancer. Donations are still being accepted online. Great job SJP!
