@NYNJHarper Stearns wanted his team and he’s got it. They flat out suck

Devin Williams looks exactly like he did early last season in the Bronx. Like the stage is too big for him. Upon signing him, Stearns tried to say that if you looked at the numbers, Williams was unlucky last year. If you watched, you knew it was more than that.

@michaelgbaron I’m really starting to think they are gonna regret breaking up the core and not adding a true power hitter. At least with Pete you could win a game like this here and there with one swing.

The #Mets got a really strong start from Freddy Peralta and a great effort from Sean Manaea in relief. But this offense is flat out painful. They don’t even hit the ball particularly hard.
