1-When I look at this backstage pic of Andy Partridge & Sting, it takes me back to summer/1980 when the Skafish band was so fortunate to tour the UK/Europe with so many greats, such as the Police, XTC, UB-40, Squeeze, English Beat, U2, New Order, Sector 27 & others.

5 years ago today I drove up to @smashedplastic to pick up my debut vinyl album reissue they pressed and met fellow musician Dan Jarvis. Not only did they do a spectacular job with the project, truly, but Dan and I had a blast! Viva Revolutionary Music!

1-1976: I wrote LET'S PLAY DOCTOR, which my band performed throughout Chicagoland. 1982: My band recorded the track for our 2nd lp, but IRS Records rejected it for being too shocking to release. So no one got to hear it…. Here's the lyric video: youtube.com/watch?v=c3bHV5…

5-When it comes to music, I am a lifer, plain and simple. I can't wait to share with you all the things I'm working on and I am beyond appreciative of our connection and your support. I hope all is going well for you!

2-Since Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Cheap Trick came to many of the early Skafish shows, their words accurately recall the saga of those days.

1-50 years ago in February 1976, my newly formed punk band first stepped on stage when we crashed an audition night at Club B’Ginnings, where I wore an old ladies one-piece bathing suit. From the beginning, we were either loved or reviled.
