My Gen Z cousin told me he spent $5K for spring break (flights, hotel, drinks etc.). I would drive to a beach, 6 of us in one car, all share the same hotel room, eat ramen, and go to the club before 11 so entry was free. am I just a boomer now or is that insane?

I am 100% behind Devin Booker here. Last night was not a good look for our league. Let me be clear, we didn’t lose because of officiating, but that doesn’t make last night any less important. If the referees are going to demand respect from the players - as they should - then the players should demand respect from the referees. When a referee is missing calls and clearly disrespecting the players, almost mocking them, they must be held accountable. Nobody who loves this game enjoyed watching that last night. They want to see the players compete at the highest level. The league needs be far more aggressive about this kind of thing. All players and all fans deserve it.

Devin Booker WENT OFF in his postgame interview about the officiating in tonight’s game vs OKC: "It's definitely something that has to be looked into. I heard Caruso tell them to call the tech and he ended up doing it. In my 11 years, I haven't called a ref out by name, but James [Williams] was terrible tonight, through and through. It's bad for the sport, bad for the integrity of the sport. People are going to start viewing this as the WWE if they're not held responsible." "I know I haven't won a championship in this league but I have been in it for 11 years now, so to get to this point to be treated like that, for me to even be saying something out loud... It's bad. "It's my first time in 11 years but it's needed. Whatever, I get fined for it, everybody can pull the clips and see where the frustration comes from."

The Suns are already facing a very improbable path forward going up against the defending champs without a few key role players, but this officiating has officially made the improbable impossible. It sucks that this is what this season is ultimately coming down to.

The NCAA broadcast committee meeting. “How about we schedule the 4 games on hour intervals at 6, 7, 8, and 9? That way someone could watch some of every game and doesn’t have to pick which of the two to watch at a time and they won’t end close together.” “Orrrrr hear me out. We play two at a time. Make the people choose one or the other. And if both are close we require some effort on their end to navigate the endings.” “Bingo! That’s the one.”

The Bobby Hurley era comes to an end… I know there will be a lot of negativity around his name in Tempe but I really want to look at the positive in his tenure. GuardU era, extremely fun teams such as… 18-19, 19-20(💔) & 22-23! I will always respect the passion he had for ASU and trying to win HERE!!! Thank you @BobbyHurley11, I’m praying you kill it wherever you go, I’m rooting for you to win more than anyone!!! #ForksUp #BOBBYHURLEY2028

"It's been a long road. It's been a special time. ... I don't have any regrets. I laid it out on the line to the best that I could every night." Bobby Hurley reflects on the past 11 seasons with ASU after what is likely his final game with the program.

In no way did I expect ASU to finish the season with a winning record—not with the roster overhaul Hurley had to make going into his final contract season, when considering his financial limitations. If it's the end, as appears likely, I respect his relentless grit to compete.

Democrats are mad that Pete Hegseth spent $20 million on steak and lobster for our troops. For that kind of cash they could’ve produced TWO EPISODES of Gay Sesame Street in IRAQ.

Never leave your loved one alone in the hospital. Every hour you are allowed to be there, if you are able to, I highly recommend being there. Be perfectly cordial with staff. But watch over everything like a hawk. Trust me on this.

If Fleming can develop into the PF of the future for the Suns, it completely changes the calculus and ceiling for this team over the next 2-3 seasons.

“People always asked "Why do you pay so much money for your kid to do sports”? Well I have a confession to make; I don't pay for my kid to “to do sports” Personally, I couldn't care less about what sport she does So, if I am not paying for sports what am I paying for? - I pay for those moments when my kid becomes so tired she wants to quit but doesn’t - I pay for those days when my kid comes home from school and is “too tired" to go to her training but she goes anyway. - I pay for my kid to learn to be disciplined, focused and dedicated - I pay for my kid to learn to take care of her body and learn how to correctly fuel her body for success. - I pay for my kid to learn to work with others and to be a good team mate, gracious in defeat and humble in success - I pay for my kid to learn to deal with disappointment, when they don’t get that placing or title they'd hoped for, but still they go back week after week giving it their best shot. - I pay for my kid to learn to make and accomplish goals - I pay for my kid to respect, not only themselves, but others, officials, judges and coaches - I pay for my kid to learn that it takes hours and hours, years and years of hard work and practice to create a champion and that success does not happen overnight - I pay for my kid to be proud of small achievements, and to work towards long term goals - I pay for the opportunity my child has and will have to make life-long friendships, create lifelong memories, to be as proud of her achievements as I am - I pay so that my child can be in the gym instead of in front of a screen - I pay for those rides home where we make precious memories talking about practice, both good and bad -I pay so that my child can learn the importance of time management and balancing what is important like school and keeping grades up I could go on but, to be short, I don't pay for sports I pay for the opportunities that sports provides my kid with to develop attributes that will serve her well throughout her life and give her the opportunity to bless the lives of others. From what I have seen I think it is a great investment!” - Softball Parent Need Help? Just ask @SRUSA_Official

Public Service Announcement If your son was dismissed from his high school team for missing the teams spring break tournament, to go on vacation (beach trip, etc.). Or Your son isn't getting playing time because he missed the spring break tournament for vacation. Do this. Call the school's athletic director or principal and request a meeting. Tell them it's important. At the meeting, tell them how much you appreciate the coach caring enough about your son to teach him about life, and how much you appreciate him holding your son accountable. Then thank them for hiring a coach that cared about commitment, sacrifice and teaching the kids that being a great teammate comes with responsibilities. Then suggest they give the coach a raise, shake their hands and reiterate how much you appreciate them.
