there should be an individual all around in figure skating. challenge each athlete to do all four categories. whichever solo person can do the highest-scoring ice dance, pairs, men’s, and women’s routine by themselves gets the ogm

@kaorigladiator It’s always been, singles skater then pairs then ice dance then cruise ships then synchro then ice theatre. If ice theatre doesn’t work out, you do a different sport

to an extent, yes? but i think this also undermines how difficult pairs and dance are. if someone isn’t a proficient jumper they may be suggested to try ice dance or pairs
