My biggest takeaways from Trumps visit to China: -China needs middle eastern oil and wants the war with Iran to end quickly. -War over Taiwan is not imminent and Xi simply wants to maintain the status quo, for now. -China has had a chance to size-up the new American leadership in person and may be more cautious regarding provocative military moves in the Pacific.
