@AbideNoH8Red @toymachinesh @Ubisoft It could help if one of the major labels was in on it, they could tell what songs to rotate to free for the week/month, it could also help the labels promote if it was newly dropped content with official arrangements. A Win/Win/Win situation @rocksmithplus

@toymachinesh @Ubisoft It is a licensing thing, but I'm thinking that they ought to put it into their licensing legalese in the contract or whatever they do... that it will include 'promotional material' in which their song may be free for a couple of weeks, and then rotate a free setlist for a while.

@Ubisoft I think, if you actually want brand new players who have never picked up a guitar or bass before to actually play Rocksmith+... It would be really helpful if there were actually songs to play without upgrading to premium. Even if they are only available/rotate weekly.
