🚨🇬🇧 A black Suzuki Swift plowed into pedestrians in Derby city centre Saturday night around 9:30pm.
Reports say around 20 people were hit on Friar Gate.
Multiple injuries, some serious.
Victims treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital.
The driver, a man in his 30s, was stopped shortly after and arrested.
Police say there's no ongoing threat to the public but haven't released a motive.
Friar Gate remains completely closed. Investigation ongoing.
