I'm unsure how sports betting got into the media crosshairs when online roulette wheels and slots proliferate the space.

When I was doing my PhD at MIT it was common to get *EXCELLENT* officers who sprinted through PhDs in 3 years and then took that expertise back to DoD. They were a huge benefit to our program and also to their service upon their return.

For the longest time, like years & years later, my Read the Footnotes future sat sitting there in "PENDING" at The Greek and would be the first thing I would see every morning when I signed into my account.

Food for thought.... Would a solution to the NBA tanking problem be to eliminate the NBA rookie scale? If drafted players could negotiate with the risk of returning to school (like with baseball), rookie salaries would be higher, which would make tanking for them less attractive.
