I’ve covered Eric Swawell since he was a member of the Dublin City Council. Shortly after being elected to Congress in 2013, his behavior towards women was known by all levels of our local government and the Alameda County Democratic Party.

@ChisomAgbafor I was a special librarian & interviewed at a big NY law firm. They asked me if I would cry *when* (not if) a Partner yelled at me. I declined to move forward and switched to Financial Services industry instead. What's wrong with your culture that you think it's ok to ask that?

I remember one job interview I went for. I had passed all the stages, but the interviewer asked me one last question: “Tell us 5 ways you would react if the boss shouts at you.” I looked at them and said, “Okay, but first, can you show me where the restroom is?” And that’s how I carried my bag and left.

You do not want shingles. It can be excruciatingly painful and cause permanent nerve damage. But here’s the thing: if you had chickenpox, the virus never left - it only became dormant - to potentially reactivate later in life as shingles. Past infection ≠ future protection
