@Liberalssuck47 @MorePerfectUS 100%. Whatever happened to "no taxation without representation"? Who is being represented anymore? Taxes are (collectively) the highest they've ever been, and yet, everyone's the least represented. Every city has become derelict. Every county has far too many potholes.
English

Just look at CA. Homelessness is insane. They have hospice fraud out the ass.
Yet pay the highest taxes. Gavin pocketed the money to help the homeless crisis. And the light speed rail money. And fire relief money. Really most of all of the money.
Government intervention is the issue. Taxpayer dollars don’t mean shit when they don’t actually get used for what they’re supposed to be used for.
English

Jeff Bezos on CNBC: "If people want me to pay more billions, then let's have that debate, but don't pretend that that's gonna solve the problem. You could double the taxes I pay, and it's not gonna help that teacher in Queens.... Airbnb isn't causing high rents. What's really causing high rent is government intervention."
English

@psyopreceipts @MorePerfectUS saying made up nonsense with your whole chest lol
English

@psyopreceipts @MorePerfectUS Everyone always ignores government intervention (regulations), BS zoning laws, and the bottom 2% while blaming the top 1% for everything. Tax hikes will also not fix the issue of government expenditure. Govt has been deficit spending for decades.
English

What's really causing high rents is a 5-10% rapid increase in population while at the same time increasing the money supply to unheard of levels.
It's pretty fucking simple.
And as far as increasing taxes, how bout fix the fraud first, these arguments are ridiculous.
Remember when Wall Street robbed the world and nobody went to prison, but instead Obama and the media weaponized the anger and pit neighbors against each other by claiming everyone was racist and sexist.
And millions are still wrapped up in the PSYOP.
Insanity.

@Observer_ofyou @withfaheem At first (before python became insanely bloated and went beyond the scope of it's intended purpose) the tradeoff was that it could teach kids how to code. Modern python is so laughably stupid that it might just be easier to learn C.

@tuuu28283 They exist here. They are mostly DIY projects. I have never seen anyone riding a commercially available 50cc bike. Maybe 1 scooter in my whole life, but I do not live in a city. We have 2 stroke and 4 stroke conversion kits that add engines to bicycles.

@TheKanehB Pagers used longer radio wavelengths to communicate. Longer wavelengths travel longer distances but have less data throughput. 5G has a much higher data throughput, but its shorter wavelength and limited reach create spotty service.

@ObsoleteSony I would argue the magnavox odyssey was the most important console in history, as it was the first.
English

@OOCgifs_ this degree of quality can only come from the hands of men. modern anime is all bone animated CGI garbage with SFX spam. old animation was art. each frame was drawn on cel sheets by hand with markers, paint, highlighters, etc. and frames were recorded on film.
English

The 1980s anime is a very powerful argument against the notion of Progress. We don’t have anything this nice today.

@philthistweet technological illiteracy. javascript should have never been invented, and, more importantly, it should have never left the browser.

@MizoChris Typical bluetooth experience. It has never worked well, and it probably never will, which is why everyone has been creating their own 2.4Ghz radio transceiver dongles.
English

The biggest issue I’ve had so far with the new Steam Controller is honestly Bluetooth.
Wired and the wireless puck feel solid, but Bluetooth still feels inconsistent with random reconnect issues, detection problems, and occasional input weirdness.
Seeing other users report similar problems too..
hopefully Valve pushes firmware updates soon because the controller itself has a ton of potential. 🎮

@analogue The aperture grille filter you chose to apply makes the game look dull, muddy, and washed. No CRT looks like this. You intentionally made your very own PR click farm post look like shit, and for what?
English

@rekdt More importantly, your hardware is backdoored through multiple different vectors. Nothing you do in rings 1-3 matter if ring 0 is compromised from the beginning.
English

Friendly reminder, the feds don’t need to backdoor your encryption because they’ve already backdoored your OS and have root permission to your encryption keys
Don’t believe me??

if AES was backdoored, why would the government use it for Basically Everything then? surely they would know that the backdoor would weaken the cipher significantly
