I love the work done by 37signals and @dhh in general, but sometimes I feel they are holding Rails back.

Ok, actually we can make Vite play nice with Propshaft.
Just a simple plugin, and Vite with HMR and all the niceties of the ecosystem plays by Propshaft's rules. Could _this_ be `rails new -j vite`?

@domster @vite_js Proxy is the biggest one - it fixes a lot of networking issues, both in terms of DX and performance. Also single config file (only Vite) and 4× smaller code footprint overall. Fewer things to break, easier to reason about.
Might not worth migrating, but a better go-to solution.
