@sketchiedetails it's not a perfect controller, but the analog stick placement is really, really good.. my main issue with it is actually the zr and zl buttons, they feel kinda awkward, like the grip is protruded like analog triggers, but they're digital buttons so it feels flat..

@skunkiter @tippity well kind of, the 3DS increased in value because it went very popular on tiktok. And for the games, I basically meant that you could just mod the vita and load it with any games you want, no need to collect them physically to play.

@_Runichi @tippity oh yeah they are quite pricey, also i doubt it's just "larpers" increasing the price of these systems and for the ps vita, it makes complete sense since they didn't sell all too well and now there's some renowned interest in it, i want to know if they are worth considering at all

@skunkiter @tippity Its probably because PSVitas price my skyrocket like the 3Ds did becuase of larpers and market speculation. Also for this kind of consoles you dont have to "find them" to "play them".

@WeebyRevy I personally did the mod for my dreamcast because the disc drive wasn't reading anything or spinning and maybe I'll get around to attempting to fix the disc drive and swapping it back one day. but I don't have enough physical games to justify having a disc drive over the gdemu

Am I the only one who hates console mods that remove the disc drive? I see these for both the PS1 and Dreamcast a lot. Like... Why would you remove the ability to ever actually buy and play games in their native format on the original hardware? Surely there's other ways to play your collection of ISOs on the hardware...

@_claypot i assume you put it back together atp but if you haven't then u should try fiddling with the layering of where the screws connect to the 2 rf shield pieces and plastic cover, it took me a bit to get it right, i'll admit that i reassembled my wii fine but i was missing 1 screw 💔

@_claypot the wii is very annoying to take apart but I assure if you don't get too nervous and trace back your steps then I believe you could do it, i think you should try to put that RF shield back in so everything seats properly, but I don't think its strictly necessary
