@NatMartin30 5 day break from a rainy game, managing Newcombe halfway through the game and Day coming back after 4 months only getting 15 touches isn't the best recipe for midfield success. I'm still feeling pretty positive based on what we showed in the first quarter.

Probably too negative but another pretty uninspiring W against a bad side that we get due to better system, which is fine, but gotta be so much better to be a prayer against Adel/Coll/BL. Simply had the chance to kill these tonight after the start and just coasted again.

@NatMartin30 I think Hawthorn's strengths expose some of the dogs' weaknesses and the Dogs' strengths expose some of the hawks' weaknesses. Will be an interesting matchup.

Absolutely terrified about the Dogs tall forwards and think their mid unit is as good as any in it. BUT I reckon our smalls can cause them a world of pain. Territory game is so critical. Didn’t want them at all but it is what it is. Gonna be a hell of a watch

@HawkTalkPod In the recent past we seem to play far better football against Bulldogs than Freo, but Fremantle and Carlton feel like predictable games which feels less nervewracking. I think a Bulldogs game could be anything between an 8 goal win and 8 goal loss.
