So I gave 2 weeks to learning Observability and implementing it.
Used Go, OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse and FluentBit. I also wrote a blog explaining almost everything I learned:

Ever thought how organisations move data from primary DB to an analytical DB ? Ever thought what FDW is ? (Zerodha uses it to power up their postgreSQL)
Wrote a blog covering these problems.
Please give it a read and a like 🙂

when i made this account in 2024 the goal was simple, just use it as a log. nothing fancy. just post stuff i find interesting, things i'm building, things i'm learning, sometimes random life things too.
that hasn't really changed.
i never followed people just because they work at some big company or have like 20k followers. i follow you if i fw your account. could be your work, could be your vibe, could be your personality, could be because you're my friend. not some generic "influential dev" reason.
back in 2023–24 when i used to just observe twitter, it actually felt motivating. you'd scroll and see people building cool things, reading good stuff, thinking properly. now it feels like a content market. everyone is a "creator" optimizing posts instead of actually doing things.
and honestly i don't care if you don't know something. nobody knows everything. i also don't care if you're not super passionate yet. i'm literally just starting out myself. but faking it, posting slop just to stay visible, fear-mongering threads, paid posts for peanuts, that stuff just makes the whole space worse. i don't want that kind of noise in my head.
genuine posts are enough. even if it's your daily life. even if it's a leetcode two sum screenshot. that's real. that's fine.
numbers don't impress me. followers don't impress me. good work does. curiosity does. building things does. thinking does.
if you're trying to get a job through twitter, sure, go for it. but followers aren't skill. shortcuts might get you somewhere once, but they won't teach you how to get there again.
i'll keep posting anyway. there are still some really cool accounts here that i look up to, and that's enough reason to stay.
