@lightningclare@HakarisupremaC Absolutely wild to think that Yuji would let this happen considering his whole “everyone deserves a proper death” motivation early on. Praying to gege that Yuji is unaware to all this
Kusakabe said it wasn't a problem anymore, not that he canceled it specifically, but you can assume he most likely did
Also, Mei Mei did mention Ui Ui would become head in the future, to leave some students' "umami" in the future to derive a monthly income from them
The interpretation has become more dark at this point
Ui Ui in Modulo volume 3:
Head of the Shin Kageryu (New Shadow style) school in 2087. Around 80 years old? He's actually been slowly draining the lifespan of specific Shin Kageryu pupils.
All for the sake of passing on, both accurately with great grandiose, the tales of his sister's magnificence.
@lightningclare I just assumed he had eternal youth until he died. So if his aging has slowed and he still looks so young. I’m guessing his estimate of still being Alive in 300 years is a low ball. At least that’s my theory
On Yuji Itadori in Modulo volume 3:
Due to having consumed the Death Paintings, he became a curse-human hybrid and his aging speed was slowed down to the most extreme measure. He trained succesors together with Todo (Aoi) at one point; one of those was Miyaguni.
@lightningclare@sunaaaacchi God what I wouldn’t give for an official art book of some kind. Id love more official art content of any kind from gege outside the actual manga. The calendar was a nice gem tho. Got that shipped to Canada from Japan haha
Our first complete look at Heian era Ryomen Sukuna was in Shibuya arc and the anime skipped it
Even if it's an ending card season 3 MUST show him. Hiden and Kamitoke weapons included. We were robbed of this debut
@EtherionMaster@lightningclare Daburas lapse and reversal combo is a giant city wide flashbang where he just turns the sun on and off rapidly in a wide range. Gege told me in a dream
Mahoraga adapted to Sukuna's sleuth of cutting attacks from Dismantle alone
He adapted to Dabura's light beams to the point he respawned from sub-lightspeed kicks
Yet he had to adapt to Blue, Red, AND Purple separately. Gojo's complexity and performance of Limitless was special
@lightningclare@nalenium Nah I think the opposite of cutting is fusing things back together and the opposite of fire is water so Sukunas CTR would turn him into an underwater welder. Makes sense to me
I like this concept, but just note gojo's ct is math-based, not physics. He turns math paradoxes into reality
A ct reversal should be the reverse of the ct's most fundamental concept. If sukuna's ct is about "cooking," then his reverse would be "eating" or "uncooking" (bringing the food back to life)
"What do they call this kind of jujutsu on earth?"
Dabura Karaba just unlocked Cursed Technique Reversal: flow in positive energy instead of negative (cursed) energy to inverse his CT's effects
Only two other sorcerers thus far have demonstrated this: Gojo and Kenjaku
@lightningclare I love to see what yuji is capable of now but using some of the most advanced jujutsu techs like barrier with dismantles and on demand black flash on a random Simurian who’s low grade 1 at best is so funny to me 🤣 like what did that guy do to you to deserve such an ass whopping
> Piercing blood with massive homing AoE
> City-wide Dismantle rivaling Rika's cursed energy output
> Precisely-controlled Black Flash
> Same presence as kalyan AKA a cursed spirit
> Achieved latent ability same as King of Curses
Yuji Itadori is a special grade MONSTER now
@lightningclare Sorry if this sounds dim but wasn’t the wording on yagas CT very vague to the point that we’re not sure it’s a CT or something anyone can do with practice. I could be remembering wrong of course
Why is Principal Yaga considered a potential special grade status?
-Definition of a special grade sorcerer: ability to overthrow an entire country on your own (prob a country with a formidable military force)
Yaga's CT is puppet manipulation. Panda on his own isn't much, but we've seen puppets like ultimate mechamaru, with enough stored CE, can output special grade-tier cannons
A hypothetical army of sentient ultimate mechamarus would be terrifying af
@lightningclare@ShadzMangaOnly Maybe since the Kamo family is part of the big three because of its political connections. They don’t have that deep of a CT arsenal as the Zenin which defaults a good CT like blood manipulation as their treasure
Oh that's really good. The ability to use cursed energy and eradicate curses is incredibly important to a sorcerer's identiy
As far as family status goes tho, I feel like it's got nothing to do with it
-Kamo family was relevant as a part of the great 3 families because of its political connections, confirmed by gege
-Zenin family absorbed many cursed techniques into their bloodline and became a highly versatile battle clan
-Gojo family may have stayed relevant thru tengen due to rikugan connection
Why is blood manipulation their prized treasure? I'm thinking (coping) that the OG saw smth in it we have yet to see
Great 3 families strongest techniques:
-Limitless jujutsu: can't use without rikugan
-Ten shadows technique: can't tame its strongest shikigami
-Blood manipulation: can't convert cursed energy into blood
10S rivals Limitless at its full potential. Maybe it's the same for BM?
@lightningclare@lipeepipol@AnwerShakaib I love the idea limitless is a dog shit CT in everyone’s eyes. The a kid is born with six eyes/limitless for the first time and everyone says “what a waste of the six eyes” then boom one of the best CTs in the verse emerges
Rikugan as far as we know has only been linked to gojo family since the rikugan + limitless combo is infamous. The bloodline means it's been kept inside the family for centuries
It's also possible that an outside rikugan user married its way in and gojo family hit the jackpot overcoming shitty Limitless
@lightningclare Blood manipulation definitely has a crazy handicap but that’s only in the context of if you’re trying to reach the gojo/sukuna level of jujutsu. Even without RCT I think it’s still an incredible technique. Close/mid/long range capability and poisonous to curses
Blood manipulation has such a horrible handicap it makes one wonder why Kamo family bothered to keep its inheritance going instead of acquiring smth new
Naturally you question whether we've yet to see the full extent of BM, like a domain or maximum technique (yuji⁉️)
@lightningclare While this is crazy impressive. I feel like this would very taxing on a non cursed womb individual as that means they’d have to create all that blood with RCT instead of the regular CE to blood conversion that Yuji and his brothers can do. Still I’m happy we’re seeing more of him
YUJI ITADORI WITH BY FAR THE CRAZIEST PIERCING BLOOD DEBUT WHAT
Showing us why it's considered one of the most prized cursed techniques alongside Limitless and Ten Shadows from the great families
@lightningclare@FourYonkos I think if you also look at someone like Yuki and Garuda having mass clearly be yukis CT that she can also imbue or use through her shikigami. Makes it much more obvious that copy is Yutas CT that he uses through Rika to a certain degree so his brain doesn’t get fried
I think there's some sort of misunderstanding in the way these CTs are understood
-Copy is Yuta's innate cursed technique
-RIKA is a shikigami left behind by the real Rika, used by Yuta for external storage bc his own brain can't take it. She can be powered by Yuta but is not an inherent part of Yuta's CT
-Sukuna's CT is Shrine, which has the following skills: Kai (Dismantle), Hachi (Cleave), & Kamino (Hearth)
Kamino has conditions to be used (using Kai & Hachi first as you said). It is an extension of his basic skills (JP: 術式拡張). It's not the same as RIKA which was specifically given to Yuta by the real Rika
Ultimately, what both have in common is the powers stem from the user as the source. Yuta gave power to Rika as a vengeful curse who then gave RIKA to Yuta
Small but nice detail is that RIKA's cursed energy shares the same chilly slime effect (ぬる) as that of Yuta Okkotsu
To me this indicates Yuta's CE isn't any different from RIKA's. They are exactly one and the same
Tsurugi is being strengthened by his grandfather's own power
@lightningclare@monkeyarchetype This is why I follow you lighting. Now I can dunk on all my friends with my superior jjk knowledge of yuta CE feeling slimy 🤣 (in all honesty this is such a fun thing to know)
@lightningclare@sunaaaacchi Seeing kenjaku in this setting would’ve been crazy. I’m sure they wouldve loved to run all kinds of experiments on the simurians
@sunaaaacchi All i know is kenjaku was 68 yrs too early to see aliens come to invade japan. This is the uncontrolled chaos he woulda wanted to see all along
@lightningclare God I both really wanna see yuji come into the story but also don’t cuz the more Gege writes about him he more he makes him suffer. Give my boy a happy ending
Gege: "I convinced Iwasaki-san to accept the offer when I told him 'Mahoraga is gonna appear!'"
Maho is gonna carry Modulo to an anime thru sheer fucking aura alone. He alone is worth adapting
