@rezero_ice Breaktime??? OMG NO WAY 💀💀💀 Hopefully at the beginning of Episode 8, then. Kind of like what happened with Regulus and Petelgeuse's Shadow Garden.
Re: Zero Season 4, Episode 7 - Spoiler Warning
Well, this is the big one. This is the episode where most consider Arc 6 truly to start.
Honestly, I don't know what to type up for this one. The first half is fine, just building up to the balcony scene.
Now, when it comes to the balcony adaptation, that was done pretty well. Though I felt the level of eeriness and suspense was still conveyed better in the novels, there were some really cool stuff, such as conveying how robotic the birds feel with an awesome first person POV shot of one of them gazing at Eridna and Subaru! The birds by the way are not like their Light Novel description, but follow Otsuka's versions.
And man, the voice acting during this scene was fantastic and we did get some awesome shots of the tower under the night sky.
Now for what's most anticipated. The big twist at the end. Honestly, I felt like they could have done much more with it. It just felt routine and I feel like while for anime-onlies it'll definitely be a WTF moment, it may feel a bit lacking to novel readers. This is just my own opinion, though, don't take it as gospel.
The episode adapts right to the end of Volume 22, ending at Subaru's "I'VE BEEN SUMMONED INTO A PARALLEL WORLD!?", with Subaru striking a similar pose as he did in S1E1 when he said those words.
Not an extended length episode. No opening. Ending plays as normal straight after the line above.

RE: ZERO TAKES POLE POSITION IN KADOKAWA'S BEST SELLING TITLES IN THE FISCAL YEAR OF 2025!
Narrowly inching out Oshi no Ko, Re: Zero proves itself as Kadokawa's top seller when it comes to anime. Furthermore, Kadokawa reference Re: Zero as one of their main series expected to draw profit in 2026's fiscal year, along with Sekiro's upcoming anime and Pandorobo.
Re: Zero Season 4, Episode 6 - Spoiler Warning
I know everyone is immediately wondering if this episode cooked or whether it flopped, given its importance. Don't worry. IT FUCKING COOKED. HARD. ESPECIALLY THE SECOND HALF OF THE EPISODE. LIKE MAN, I HAD ANOTHER JAW TO THE FLOOR MOMENT.
The first half was pretty good, and of course, the infamous scene with Reid and Emilia was kept, with her bouncing boobily. There were some good action cuts, and I especially liked the way they subtly introduced the fact Reid was able to stop Julius' sword with mere chopsticks. It will catch anime onlies off guard!
AND FOOD FOR THE NOVEL READERS AFTER. They not only kept the reference to the three strongest of each nation, but we get silhouette designs of each. INCLUDING THE CRAZED PRINCE.
AND THEN THE PIECE DE RESISTANCE OF THE EPISODE. I DON'T WANT TO SPOIL TOO MUCH OF IT. BUT OMG. THE SOUND DIRECTION. THE DIRECTION. THE WAY THE SCRIPT THROUGHOUT THE EPISODE USED CONTENT FROM SEASON 1 AND ANIME ORIGINAL CUTS SHOWING FLASHES OF JULIUS' PAST. THE OST MAN. INCREDIBLE. JUST WATCH AND SEE ON WEDNESDAY!
And of course, after we have Subaru trying to support Julius down the stairs and their talk. The episode ends on the scene shown in the official second trailer, that I attached to this post, with a really neat tie in to a certain Season 1, Episode 13 (something that is thematic throughout the episode). 😉
Not an extended length episode.

Re: Zero Season 4, Episode 4 - Spoiler Warning
Just finished watching! DAMN, the episode surprised me, in a good way. I was expecting it to be a little rougher around the edges given the effort poured into Episodes 1-3, but White Fox took an incredible amount of care with it.
The Shadow Garden scene is there, with both Regulus and Petelgeuse and is adapted extremely well.
The transitionary period until the Trial is also done quite well. So many cute, adorable Shaula frames! Also, we see more of the Green Room and it has some really nice soothing visuals (though I wish they kept the beds as ivy than stone).
Then onto the asterism trial! The AD work here was utterly phenomenal I felt, like so, so much better than I expected. Also, the voice that outlines the trial was done differently than I expected but I liked it!
We also have what I think is a really good new (maybe?) OST playing as Subaru and Beatrice use Murak to observe the monoliths from above!
And of course, the stars! Damn, I like the way they portrayed the monoliths relating to the stars, I won't spoil too much about it but I really liked it!!!

Not an extended length episode. No opening. Has ending.
Overall, I rate this episode a very, very solid 8/10.
@LoremIpsumVerb One thing I'm very interested to know is whether the many foreshadowings from arc 6 (especially some referring to the future of the series in V23 and V25) will be adapted into season 4 or not.
@skyness216 I won't do them for Episode 2, they are already out due to the pre-screening; I already made my episode comments back when it pre-screened.
Extremely bad news.
Unfortunately, it looks like Re: Zero Season 4, due to what looks like licensing restrictions, most likely caused by the scum that is Crunchyroll, will be broadcasting two weeks later on Muse Asia's YouTube Channel.
This is a huge blow. Muse Asia Re: Zero subs are excellent, with some of the most passion I've seen poured into a series translation in a long while.
Though it will be available simulcast on some VOD platforms (like iQIYI and those listed in the screenshot), unfortunately their YouTube channel is generally what people are most familiar with.
Guess most people are going to be stuck with Crunchyroll's monopolistic AI slop "translations" this season.
