Currently @Rupert_Matthews is being grilled by the Leicestershire & Rutland Concil Police & Crime Panel who called a special meeting due to his change of political affiliation. It makes for uncomfortable viewing. He was just read this and asked if "he was going to be the Dishonourable PCC for Leicestershire?". He simply said "no".

Now the Prime Minister has sacked Raynor it’s it’s time he also binned her disasterous policy of local government reform. We do not need a Birmingham-style mega council here in Leicestershire

The question I don’t understand about Angela Raynor is how does she think it’s acceptable to be buying a house on the south cost many hours and many miles away from her constituency? Who does she think she is? David Tredinnick?

Cllr Bray is “extremely concerned” about unitary proposals. Subject could be “hijacked” at next elections. It’s worrying for council staff. Won’t protect local services. Residents not being consulted.
