@MakossK6 @askghmedia I gave them pointers, they should read after all they might find more information there than what I may provide. Some were kind to direct them to the sections.

A woman has shared a video of the moment police stopped the bolt she was travelling in to conduct a search, which she refused to consent to, prompting one of the officers to sit in the vehicle and order the bolt driver to take them to the Greda Estate Police Station.

@BongoIdeas Sometimes when you’re quick to speak you may sound foolish to the masses. Let all remember the art of patience and dissemination, don’t be quick to jump in just for popularity. Life schools differently, 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

RNAQ is a very ungrateful man. He never for once acknowledges the sacrifice Joana made: the woman sold her properties, dropped out of UPSA to lift him out of his Jamestown-stricken poverty. Today, he’s met a certain “Hajia” so he forgets his past! Tueh!

@Paakwesi69 @Qwesi_3 @askghmedia Sometimes these people think the world is a movie and they can have a do over. Imagine frustrating a personnel like this even if he will let go he will stress you out. Most of them don’t know the constitution bro, it’s sad

A traveler on a journey from Accra to the Volta Region refused to be checked by the police, arguing that immigration checkpoints should be at national borders, not within the country.

@KofiMenz @xghana_ In Ghana, the legal framework that authorizes Immigration and Customs officials to conduct inspections inland (away from borders) includes the Immigration Service Act, 2016 (Act 908), the Immigration Act, 2000 (Act 573), and as well as the Customs Act, 2015 (Act 891).There’s more

@sleek3940 @xghana_ First of all there is nothing like immigration rule and regulations, if you are talking about the LI that extablished the immigration service and the amendments there off then I tell you that, there is no justification for an immigration boarder post in the middle of town.

@LooseCannox3l @xghana_ U.S. immigration officers (specifically Customs and Border Protection/Border Patrol agents) are legally authorized to stop U.S. citizens for inland inspections, not just at the physical border, but their authority is limited by the Fourth Amendment and strict geographic boundary.

I apologize, I was referring to the police, and the caption was about the police as well. I only watched the full video after noticing you kept emphasizing the immigration point. You were right, and I apologize for the unnecessary back and forth I caused by not watching the clip in its entirety.

@jeriq_ Ghana historically neighbours are Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Togo. Nigeria has economic and human capital relations with Ghana. However Burkina, Togo and Ivory Coast the relationship is diverse and strong

Tbh Ghanaians need serious introspection. How are you in trade disputes with almost all your neighbours? Nine months ago you were fighting a trade war with Togo. Weeks ago Burkina Faso cut off your tomato supply and people started calling it the “Tomato War.” Now Nigerian onion traders have suspended every truck heading to Accra after constant harassment, market seizures and hostility. Three neighbours. Three major trade clashes in under a year. At some point you have to stop pretending everyone else is the problem and admit the truth. Your greedy ass just don’t want competition.
