"Water doesn't stick to a ball" - another classic Flat Earther line. This completely ignores the most basic force we all experience every single day: gravity. Gravity attracts all masses toward each other. Earth’s massive size means it pulls everything - the oceans, the air, and you - straight toward its center. That’s why the water stays right where it is on a spinning globe instead of flying off. So yeah, the oceans “stay” on our Earth. (Extremely elementary pic referenced below - didn’t want to confuse the flerfs with anything too technical)

NASA claims ships sink hull-first due to Earth’s curvature… Yet they also admit the curvature is physically impossible to see with the naked eye from sea level. So which is it? 🤡

@Azul667 @vegastarr The concept is 0% the same. In your example the pinky is physically blocked by your own fingers (a nearby object just inches from your face). But in reality there is no physical object blocking the bottom of the ship, the Earth physically curves away from where you’re standing

@Azul667 @vegastarr You’re literally admitting a curve is what hides the bottom of distant objects, which is what globe earth geometry says. On a globe: Curvature hides the lower part first. On a “flat Earth”: Objects should shrink uniformly instead of disappearing bottom up.

@plain_see Some people are very passionate about it and chronically online at the same time, and I’ve seen similar with flat Earth accounts. The shape of the Earth has been proven time and time again. Regardless of how much evidence there is, there will still be people who don’t believe it.

@Azul667 @vegastarr It’s an example of atmospheric distortion. Not a non-globe Earth. This also doesn’t debunk the thousands of other reasons why the Earth IS a globe. You still haven’t explained why objects don’t shrink uniformly, and please also explain why distant objects disappear bottom up.
