I'm super proud of how this song came out after not making any music for such a long time, and I'm extremely thankful to the NTE team and all the talented people that helped me put it together 🧡

We’re deeply honored that HADES II is in the running for Game of the Year and more at #TheGameAwards tonight, especially since we’re in the company of such an amazing group of wildly different and beautiful games.
Congratulations to all our fellow nominees — we salute you!! 🙏👏

@InfernoOmni If their previous RO mobile games are anything to go off of, then it ain't looking good. Cautious hope 🙏

Personally, for me to even begin to accept generative AI, there would need to be very strict rules about the use of it within any copyright-heavy medium. What it’s used for, how much of the actual piece/project involves generative AI, very clear transparency on what data sets were used, much stricter DMCA reinforcement, proper financial compensation for all creators of data set creators, extremely limited commercial usage (Coca-Cola AI ads and Amazon AI anime dubs? NEVER AGAIN.), heavily restricted and regulated user access and general use. Only then would I even begin to remotely consider being okay with consuming anything involving generative AI, much less producing anything.
I don’t even listen to songs with generative AI cover art, it’s one thing to make your own art, it’s another when the art you make sources thousands of other creators’ pieces without actual permission. Plus it’s ugly and lazy. (Yes, anyone using Generative Fill in Photoshop for cover art is not getting a commission from me, EVER)
Right now, generative AI is an extremely powerful tool that has ended up in the hands of the worst kind of people, completely unregulated. To reverse course and walk it all back would be a tall order, but would also perhaps be the first step towards artists even beginning to allow generative AI art, music, acting, or stories to freely meander around us.

My bad for taking offense! I get you now. My question would be now given the info you provided is what level of regulation would be okay? I do myself think it’s insane for a.i. to be trained on unwilling people and generate content from those learned behaviors…that is without a doubt stealing. And even going deeper..it kinda gets crazy that the culmination of all of that data is given an identity.
