@affinity4anime Then u say okay leyline and Maskwood nexus exist those are still build arounds and u need to find a way to get 5 creatures out early with your opponent not interacting with anything you do . Also the way prepared works doesn’t work with sacing so you’d have to change the wording

@affinity4anime U think , okay I play a plant somehow t1 , play 2 plants t 2 and then 2 more on t3 then u finally get to play this on t4 and have to wait until t 5 to even get the effect . On top of that you have to build a deck based around plants which just isn’t good

I will never understand how people correlate hate of a matchup, game, or deck as a direct attack on an individual. It's like people lack the ability to understand the assessment of the game not the pilots.

@SquirrelTCG Nah as soon as we start game 1 there’s no Id and I already look at u differently . Ecspecially if its a locked up id for both players

6-2-0!!! I offered my opp the id, they denied and said we will see as the game goes, he won game 1, didnt wanna ID still, I won game 2, he didn't wanna ID again, I took the first 2 prizes in game 3 and THEN he wanted to ID and asked like 7 more times...

Every few weeks I see some yugioh player talk about lands in MTG, or how yugioh is harder than MTG, or something in general about MTG Which I always find fascinating Because I don’t think about Yugioh at all

@SaffronOlive Hard disagree mtg mana system is terrible riftbound: 2 -3 runes per turn , one piece 1-2 dons per turn , flesh and blood : uses the cards themselves to cast other cards, pokemon multiple draw effects and search engines(that are free) for energy , Lorcana : ink the same cards play

Every TCG is going to have non-games. Non-games are the result of variance which is something TCG's need. Some people feel like Magic's non-games are worse because the variance comes from the mana system, so a MTG non-game is "you don't play you cards." In reality this is no more of a non-game than some Hearthstone card doing something random to kill you out of nowhere, but Magic takes more heat for it because it feels worse. It's basically the same concept as how in Commander you can Doom Blade your opponent's commander and it's fine, but if you counter it they get salty. The result is the same, but the Doom Blade gives you the illusion that you were actually making progress and doing something. It tricks you into thinking your decisions mattered, but really they didn't. Non-games in other TCG's do a better job of giving you this illusion, to tricking you into thinking that they aren't really non-games because you are taking game actions and doing things. But really they are the same as getting mana screwed.
