Rice and Zubimendi are going to be corpses after the World Cup. we need to find Myles (a 6) a partner that can get through a high volume of duels, carry, and run like mad while impacting the final third a bit. Garner and Scott do all that at a crazy level - price is a worry

i like him we need a true 8 and he isn’t that - isn’t better than MLS or Zubimendi as the deepest midfielder either. the dream to me is Scott or Garner to round out the midfield

@steadyhooping also we need to keep Rice deep to protect his legs long term, while both Zubi and him him be coming off monster seasons minutes-wise post-WC. to me Scott and Garner pair very well with MLS in their absence, Mateus is calm, Wharton i don’t like generally
