@slime_machine @Owen_Souls awww, you noticed ❤️ i just thought you deserved to know who you're arguing with and didn't deserve a false apology
English

@copp4262 @Owen_Souls changed your reply to this and your pfp what a transformative experience
English

@copp4262 @Owen_Souls that’s good i guess. please never talk to me again
English

@slime_machine @Owen_Souls Well personally I don’t think a twitter reply can tell you everything you need to know about me and my personal relationships. I do find myself disgusting, however
English

@copp4262 @Owen_Souls then why be pretentious? don’t you find yourself disgusting when you tell people unsolicited that you are screenwriter and then explain what you mean by marvel dialogue as though it isn’t intuitive? do you not have people in your life that tell you how insufferable this is
English

@slime_machine @Owen_Souls Hahahahha I 100% agree and you got my ass. He’s more successful than I’ll ever be in a million years, I just don’t think he can write
English

@copp4262 @Owen_Souls might be the most pretentious reply ive seen in a really long time
English

@slime_machine @Owen_Souls Personal preference tbf. I’m a screenwriter and personally I think his dialogue is very ‘Mavel’ like, as in it’s a lot of one liners and not much substance. I do think Oppenheimer is a good film however it’s held back by his writing cause I think he’s a brilliant director
English

@copp4262 @Owen_Souls i dont think its a writing thing i think its completely a directing and cutting thing, oppenheimer was great and it was 90% dialogue
English

@slime_machine @Owen_Souls Chris Nolan cannot write dialogue and it’s been his shortcoming for pretty much all his films but recently he’s been getting worse by picking stories that rely on dialogue to be good, emphasing it more when it doesn’t stick the landing (I.e. Oppenheimer, imo)
English

@Owen_Souls its a negative i think it fucks the movie up really bad, everything else is cool i just don’t know how you take great actors and make them look this bad

@evergeenwingszs @VerilyInara read your profile i think you are genuinely having a schizophrenic break and should talk to someone
English

@slime_machine @VerilyInara they characterize me as that
stereotype “no one listens to
this anymore but i do and im
young too” and its so precise
i should kms
English

I was a teenager in the pocket of time where everyone had a phone but not a smartphone, so when you were looking down at it it meant you were texting someone, which seemed way more dignified than what it means to look at your phone now
internet archiva@internetarchiva
Not a single smartphone, just people living in the moment
English

@VerilyInara idk i yearned for the 80s and i wasn’t born in them it’s just a young person thing
English

@slime_machine I sometimes wonder what it means to yearn for this. Everyone yearns for their childhood, but I also grew up in this exact time-frame (class of '05) and it feels as if it was a super unique moment with culture and technology and it deserves to be missed in some ways.
