@samth Please understand that I wrote this on my phone on a train and did not proofread it, so it might not make sense, and also my font is normally much larger (I decreased it to fit more text in each screenshot) so I couldn't really see what I was saying the whole time (1/2)

@disconcision @colin_fraser Weird, I would've guessed these types of diagrams are canonically pointed, even in popular culture…e.g. we describe some people as having a "spiky" profile. I guess it depends whether there are a discrete number of skill vertices

been trying to think through first order cleavages in popular llm discourse. i think that basically, outside certain well-known shapes, people aren't used to very spiky things. they react by trying to boubafy the deeply kiki in two opposing ways
