I agree with the first one, the second one is tough. ENS needs to simplify in all UX aspects + engage in a very unique and simple to understand way with the end user to educate and inspire deeper interest into ENS utilities which is a special challenge in todays attention economy and a huge challenge from a financial, marketing and educational point of view and requires multi-year strategy.

Web3 needs to learn to speak human. ENS is the way.

@slinkyEth @INVEST0RS I own blinds.eth and similar names. I feel your pain. Not a grail IMO while .eth is primarily focused on identity on chain/social media. If it is ever used for e-commerce we can discuss, but the plural is a mouthful/handful. Best of luck fren

@kek0x @ensdomains now we need to get them to remove the asterisk. it wouldn't be hard, just whitelist all the emoji unicode. its a well-defined list! and just keep the asterisk for everything else which includes things like zero space characters

Today I've learnt about a new color space: OkHSL! It's essentially the same concept and HSL, but the hues have been tweaked to be not mathematically linear, rather human perceptually! It seems like an absolute winner replacement for HSL, whilst also playing nice with LEDs!

If you've ever done anything with colors on computers, you've probably realised that the RGB color space is useless :D Or rather, useless to compute on directly. The reason is because RGB looks like this.

🚨ENSers READ THIS🚨 Not the first time I’ve said this, but I think the ENS team should allow users to deliberately put their names into the Registration Auction system Names in the reg auction go for higher prices than secondary, and also achieve the ENS team’s stated goal of getting names into the hands of end users If users who want to auction a name can put it in the official channel and get the reg funds, ENS would transfer names to people who want them I would gladly do this with some of the names I “squat” (according to them) They are being greedy and selfish by not doing this The ENS team has taken the stance that the only people allowed to make money from the names are them Until they realize I’m right, I will keep squatting by paying renewals (cause my names are worth more than the renewal fee) They don’t mind this because I give them more money to squat And if I let a name expire, they make even more @BrantlyMillegan can we fix this??
