This is absolutely ridiculous. For the fourth time in five months, the Northern Lights are visible in #Pittsburgh. This view is from just after sunset, when it was visible across the ENTIRE skyline, and even overhead. Cannot believe how vibrant it was. I may be out all night,

@korytellers @shirky17 Interesting. I was flipping through channels the other day and saw a snippet of something that infuriated me about teacher unions. I didn’t feel pressured when I taught in public ed but wondered if that was the case.

Educator question: did you feel pressured to join a union?

@juliedavisEDU No. As a new educator, one should be asking how to join. You pay for car insurance, homeowner insurance, and health insurance. Why not work insurance?

How administrators interact in the cafeteria, bus line, hallway, etc, may be more important for building relationships and culture than how they interact in a meeting or their office.

@DaveDiCello This is where I visited it. My son was a student at Duquesne University and we were in visiting him.

It spend the remainder of its visit by Point State Park, and was so much fun to shoot. I mean...it was a Giant Rubber Duck...on the river...in Pittsburgh. It's right up there with the Bat Signal on the city as one of the coolest non-weather/sports related things I've ever shot.

Nine years. hard to believe that it was on this date in 2013 that the Giant Rubber Duck arrived in #Pittsburgh, and there was just this air of happiness around the city for the entirety of its visit. It was only by the bridges for one night, and I'm so glad I went to capture it.
