@NicLesperance My son learned what a googolplex was from Pilkey's latest book. We had a great conversation about numbers as a result. Every new Dog Man book we read allows me to teach him about the classic novel the title was based off of! His books are not only hysterical, they're educational!

I'm tired of people dunking on Dav Pilkey's books. They are 100% written for kids with zero consideration for what parents want, and that's why they're a huge hit. Do I want to read them? Not really. But my son tore through them and laughed his head off and that makes me happy.
