We teach.

Personally I don’t think the Wileys of this world or the ones supporting him while frothing with bigotry and lies will be ‘educated’. Quite the opposite actually, it embeds them further into defending their beliefs.

@sloth_serge @HPluckrose Twitter has essentially become the town square of discussion, as such deplatforming is basically a form of censorship. The #jewishpriviledge campaign was a far better type of answer to the problem. Some are irredeemable racists.Most people are ignorant, they must be educated.

@MarcusAurelieye @HPluckrose I wish that was my lived and felt experience as a Jew. This comes from both right and left. While there are *some* comments condoning the hatred, there are as many replying in support or commenting with further antisemitism... Deplatforming is not censorship.

@sloth_serge @HPluckrose In my experience, when antisemitic statement are made, there are usually many comments condenming it. Of course, I don't get too many hardcore rightwingers popping up into my feed. I'm sure they have wonderful hate-fests going on. Still. Censorship isn't the answer.
