@chigbarg Guitarist and bassist in my band are in drop D, meanwhile I'm in drop G. All we do is chugs or weird contrapuntal hocket-y stuff so we don't need much

my friends who play metal and similar genres on guitar: what tuning do you prefer? I have two Ibanez RG's that I want to set up for the music they're intended to play. one has a Floyd Rose, so I want to kind of pick a tuning and stick with it for a bit because it's hell to set up
