@SteveBarclay This statement proves why strikes need to happen. Working on the wards you see first hand how hard staff work and the issues they face. Safety is compromised already. You just don't like that we've had enough and are no longer willing to sit down and shut up.

Ambulance workers do invaluable work & unions have decided to strike to cause maximum disruption, inevitably impacting care.
Patient safety is my number one priority and the government & NHS colleagues have been working to protect safe staffing levels

@SLT_LaurenS It took a long time for me to know how, what and where of grief when my brother died and the @thegriefcast got me ready for the possibility of therapy. A huge resource.

@slt_smith Ooh, will need to check this out. Thanks for sharing.☺️💚

For anyone that has lost a loved one, I’d highly recommend watching #GoodGrief on Ch4. It looks at the many different facets of grief and how it can affect all of us in different ways, plus ideas on how to process those emotions.

@SLTCWilliams We've been told that scrubs will be available which will hopefully help... Or just show some truly epic sweat patches

This is the best advice for any SLT working in acute. I wish I could get the coffee shop to bleep me tho.

Don’t know your hospital well enough to give directions? Just do what I do and walk quickly with a concerned look so they think you’re on important business. Bonus points if you sprint with a bleep in your hand but that loses its punch when you join the coffee queue #mySLTday

@EleanorGuiney @RCSLT @TessaJ_Academy is hosting a webinar from the Velindre Cancer Centre all about prehab services for brain tumour patients which may be a good place to start? The webinars I managed to attend have been really useful. Planning to catch up on a few later!

Any SLTs working in the emerging area of #prehab for #neurooncology got any advice to share or suggestions for outcomes? @RCSLT #SLPeeps #mySLTday
