@MarkMaddenX 16 more wins would be half of the one-run losses they lost last year. if these newly acquired players can actually hit then that shouldn’t be impossible, but we’ll see. would be more confident if we got Suarez for 3B.

@JaredLankes exactly, getting Suarez was a must. we’ll be lucky to end the season third in the NL Central.

The Pirates had a fine offseason, amazing by their standards really, but looking at things now, it feels like they really did fall one move short and that was getting a legit 3B. Currently it’ll be Nick Gonzales at 3B and that’s bad.

@pgh_cards_ Should be a more fun season to watch compared to the agonizing recent past. I’d give them a 50% chance of making the postseason. Other teams in the NL are seriously stacked! What the Pirates did in 1 offseason might be enough for a wildcard game, but where do they go from there?
