Otherwise it doesn’t really make sense to say it so explicit, especially because the next scene shows ‘1996’ on screen.. so many ???

The Father said it's been 20 years since that time (1996) so that would be 2016.... but the woman saying "marriage equality law has NOW officially come into effect" so that would be 2025... so 20 or 30 years have passed? im so confused 😭 #TicketToHeavenEP1
