correct me if i'm wrong but what i understand from current online emo discourse is that kids now use "emo" to refer to 2000s pop punk, "midwest emo" to refer to 2010s-current pop punk, "5th wave emo" to refer to hyperpop, and "skramz" to refer to emo. have i got that right?

36 minutes is considered a short record? lol Vinyl records can only hold 25 minutes per side so at most, a record historically were 50 minutes or under. Like I’m genuinely trying to think of when records over an hour were… the norm?

I really woke up and saw that a bombing happened at the border and it was closed only to scroll and see this. It makes you think, imagine the already paranoid I’ll vote for safety over freedom people, this is how they won. Countless little micro aggressions and fake stories.
