The logistics of building a stadium above the rail yard would be insane. I couldn’t even imagine the cost if the plan is to divert all of the tracks to the underground.
Wonder if the property is actually by 14th and Canal (southwest of the Amtrak) which might be enough space?

@BShulkes Just because a player played for a coach doesn't mean there was any 'connection'. why would he feel like him and DA have a connection? he barely gave him a chance. Hendrickson barely started his first 3 years, and once he did, he put up a 13 sack season, and they let him walk

It’s weird bears weren’t on Trey Hendrickson at all despite the massive need and DA connection. It’s almost like he was a free agent, where all it took was $, and so thus there wasn’t something they could afford to offer.

The Bears signed Grady Jarrett and Dayo last off-season after Dennis Allen was hired. They drafted Shemar Turner in round 2. I'm sure his input was heavily sought with all of those moves. I think it's fair to question how well Dennis Allen can evaluate defensive linemen.
