I really feel there is a huge discrepancy in the oral exams this year. A lot of our higher achievers were harshly marked on content communication and interaction, spontaneity. Some of the got the same mark for these as a weaker student last year. Very disappointed #edexcel #mfl

@sm_languages You're doing a great job, Sam. The most important thing is that you make them feel in safe hands :) I always used to give them a stressball during it and remind them that when they finish they get a lolly/ choc!

Speaking exams have been hit and miss. I find it the most stressful experience. I want students to prepare for it but don’t want it to sound rehearsed. I also find they over-rehearse and then shut down when they’ve forgotten what to say. Does anyone else feel the same?
