I am a Brahmin by birth. I definitely know more shloks than all three of them. I fast two times per week. I have never posed for a photo in a Mandir because it’s not a tourist spot but a holy spiritual place. Only true sanatani like me will agree to this.

This government has neither shame nor self-respect. It has trampled on the pride of Kannadigas. When it comes to levying taxes, this government shows rocket speed. But when it comes to filling potholes, it doesn’t even have the speed of a tortoise. It shows madness in looting, but utter neglect towards development. State development has been sacrificed at the altar of election guarantees, while Greater Bengaluru is collapsing! A government that claims it has no funds to fill potholes must answer: where is the taxpayers’ money going? Whose pockets is it filling? The people deserve an answer. Industries are losing faith in Karnataka and migrating to neighbouring states. Those states have been waiting for this very moment, offering one concession after another to attract them. This shameless government cannot even understand the gravity of the situation, its senses have gone numb. To the industries, my only appeal is this: do not leave Bengaluru. Periyar work is just abusing and breaking unity. Whereas Basavanna work is deep philosophy grounded uniting people. List goes on.

@Ellarakannada With due respect to Kuvempu, it is not a fair comparison. Basavanna and Periyar would a better comparison. Kuvempu opposed the system only through his writings and speeches much like Kanakadasa. Whereas, Basavanna and Periyar lead revolutionary moments in their respective states.
