Rewards from staking goes to pool which increase stfuel value + fees from buying and when you want your tfuel back fast (free when usual 2-3 days withdrawls).

@Unknown33594111 Again a key misconception, sTFuel doesn’t become magically more expensive, its backing in TFuel increases resulting in the higher price. KEY IS: STFUEL IS BACKED BY TFUEL -> TFUEL BACKING INCREASES -> STFUEL PRICE INCREASES

11/ Pulling it all together When you participate in their scheme, you must buy their sTFuel token (by giving up your TFuel). If you were an early investor, you got more sTFuel. And if you are a late investor, you get less sTFuel. Their "contract" dictates this - it is just MATHS. So what is the motivation for an investor? Get in early - and buy sTFuel "on the cheap" and then rope in other investors (to get 20% of the mint fee). With time - the sTFuel token becomes more and more "expensive" (due to some magical revenue generation).

@Unknown33594111 Sorry, Your calculation basically says sTFuel should fall in value over time = more sTFuel per TFuel Our calculation says: sTFuel increases in value over time -> the amount of TFuel backing sTFuel increases -> if you redeem sTFuel you get more then when you deposited it.

10/ Daily sTFuel depreciation The graph in the previous msg is very deceptive. If you flipped the quotation around to TFuel/sTFuel - then the whole picture becomes clear. The flipped graph will show how 1 TFuel will always buy less and less sTFuel in the future. For example: 5 Feb: 1 TFuel = 9.9698 sTFuel 5 March: 1 TFuel = 9.8727 sTFuel This happens with mathematical certainty. EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR. Just look at their own graph. So what does this mean? 👇

9/ The heart of the SCAM This is the good part - and it is all hidden in their own graph. If you own the sTFuel token - it looks like you are earning more and more TFuel over time. For example: 5 Feb : 1 sTFuel = 0.100302 TFuel 5 March : 1 sTFuel = 0.101289 TFuel This is an annualised yield of 11.8%. The hidden mechanism is explained next 👇

@Unknown33594111 It’s called early adopter incentive! We could collect that fee for us and just say that’s ours, but instead we distribute it to everyone to reward early adopters!

8/ The magic revenue of 8.10% Let's look at the sTFuel whitepaper, and specifically the "tokenomics" section. All the revenue that is listed (i.e. the tips and fees) come from their new clients. Got it yet? They magically show revenue (that they take from new clients) and then give it to their existing clients (via the staking pool). But that is not all. The heart of the scam is explained in the next msg: 👇

@Unknown33594111 Now we get to the interesting part. 1. we don’t promise any APR that’s the historical one 2. It’s generated from staking rewards + protocol fees + OpenTheta Secondary Market trades 3. compounding with a larger staking amount we can compound more often then if staking by yourself

7/ Closed ecosystem Now we get to the good (i.e. mathematical) stuff. We know that TFuel staking rewards are currently at 7.3%. But the sTFuel web site says their current APR is 15.4%. So here is the problem. Since all of their TFuel is staked (and which earns them 7.3%) how can they pay 15.4%? From where is the difference of 8.10% generated. They have no other outside source of revenue (like providing a service to a CDN or a data centre). The answer is in the next msg: 👇

@Unknown33594111 This is for absolut transparency, to show the hourly returns generated by Protocol fees and staking rewards -> if someone deposits a large amount there is a big influx in fees resulting in an high APR in that hour. To get a better look at the trend take a look at the 30d graph

6/ sTFuel APR Here we have the graph of sTFuel APR. Now this is what an erratic APR graph looks like. Not only is this scary - it shouts "there is something very wrong here". The range is from 6.3% all the way up to 67.8%. This is madness.

3/ Funds Locked To unstake Tfuel from an Edge Node takes between 2 and 3 days. Now compare that to ETH - which can take from a "few days" to 43 days. Again, if you are a serious Theta community member - having to wait for two or three days is not a "deal breaker" and not a reason to find a different platform.

@Unknown33594111 We agree that right now it’s not that huge financial burden to buy 10k TFuel, even so ever Person has different funds available and we want to enable everyone to stake! Hopefully TFuel goes back to its highs then 10k TFuel could be a few thousand Dollars!

2/ "High Minimum" of 10,000 TFuel At the current price - that is a grand total of $140. Is this a joke? Serious Theta community members have real dollars committed to the Theta project. We stake with node operators like #ThetaNext who offer an excellent service - that is easy to use and at a low cost. If sTFuel is appealing to investors under the $140 limit - then I think their business model is going to fail rather quickly. I would be very wary of such an operator. Using this as a "selling point" is just low IQ.

If you read the smart contract you can see that sTFuel is backed by TFuel and that backing can’t go down! Feel free to reach out if you have more questions!

Chill bro. I will give you all the proof you need. It is called MATHS, and I will set it out for you in real simple terms. I got burned for about $100,000 on the Gnote/Tbill scam, and afterwards I dug in deep - ran the numbers and even read the white paper of the mathematical model used by the guy running the scheme. @r83804433 @Thetafund Yea if you have a tone of TFuel you can compound it very often. But most people have maybe enough to compound 1-2 a year then sTFuel should perform better. Also you save the time to do the compounding yourself
