“Palestine good but their only source of liberation bad! Also their oppressors are human too stop being mean to them guys :(( oh why does my strawpage have dni anti-Israel but not dni Zionists?? uhh…uhm..Hamas bad!!!! Terrorists!” Literally just a diet Nazi

This is not a subject you can pull the “both sides are bad card”. Palestinian resistance is vital to the freedom of the people, and trying to say Israel also is a victim is inherently giving them grace for their occupation of Palestine.

@gerussyfondler @taylor_hazed @akiraswan0 the region to attain profit. they may have not shown their stance on palestine outwardly, but through their business deacons they have. hence why it’s on the boycott. I highly doubt the ceo of mcdonald’s gaf about the genocide and you need to stop thinking they do.

@notdevfr @gerussyfondler @taylor_hazed @akiraswan0 but why would the ceo even allow locations to be opened in occupied territory? if they cared about the palestinians surely that would’ve been an issue? your right, McDonald’s does prioritise making profit. So they surely would disregard whatever geopolitics that are happening in—

@haemaet @PokeMadness1996 @akiraswan0 its hard to boycott apps like these because this is unfortunately one of the most popular and dominant apps on the net. However McDonald’s is really easy to boycott. There are so many cheaper alternatives. Literally nobody is holding you at gun point to go there it’s so avoidable

@smartdoll_ @PokeMadness1996 @akiraswan0 Yelling at people on an app owned by a Zionist isn't going to help, either. Not everyone is required to boycott, and that's okay. For some people, boycotting is a privilege.

@notdevfr @gerussyfondler @taylor_hazed @akiraswan0 yes so mcdonalds now fully profits of its franchises since they dont have to rely on royalty fees anymore. you need to understand that mcdonalds being in occupied territory fundamentally works against the Palestinians. while heinous, it isnt solely about giving the idf free meals

@smartdoll_ @gerussyfondler @taylor_hazed @akiraswan0 its a common action taken by corporations when local franchise strategies damage the brand's reputation or performance. basically: once they found out what he was doing, they stripped the franchise owner of all his resturaunts in 2024.

@notdevfr @gerussyfondler @taylor_hazed @akiraswan0 McDonald’s is available in isreal because of its franchisors, which means it profits of Palestinian land and material resources. In 2024, McDonald’s purchased the franchises in isreal from its owner due to falling sales. This means that McDonald’s also fully supports isreal —

@MaoistBeliever @typeh222 that would be true if boycotts didn’t drive mcdonald’s and starbucks out of business in certain countries. not to mention their stock market figures are pretty poor. at its core, boycotts have never been an individualistic movement, hence why they’ve made an impact.

@typeh222 Actually boycotts individualistic expressions of resistance and are ultimately useless, and therefore ascribing moral responsibility to not participating is nonsensical.

@PokeMadness1996 @akiraswan0 This person has an eating disorder and your main concern is the fact that they got a burger from McDonald's? There is a time and place for protests and boycotting, but under a post of someone on eating disorder Twitter isn't exactly appropriate.
