@MattCaron25 (2/3)3. Yes, we're gonna change this behaviour soon as we realize it's not working for some people. Regarding the HW issues, it seems like you have a manufacturing defect. We'll get your unit replaced if it's the case. Unfortunately, first runs tend to have a higher defect %.

3. Automatically stops after 1 minute of not riding. I ride in the GTA and some street lights are longer than 1 minute. Stopping the ride then restarting the ride after waiting 1 minute is not a user-friendly feature and no cyclist would have recommended this as a feature.

@MattCaron25 (1/3)Hey Matt, sorry for the issues+thx for the feedback. We're hoping to release firmware updates to fix many of the points you raise. 1+2. A few users are reporting this; it's a bug we're hoping to fix soon. Definitely not expected behaviour and we understand the frustration.

1. The SH2 randomly turns off. While riding, the screen goes blank, turns off and then turns back on. The SH2 reads “Bye” followed by “Let’s Ride” every time this happens. On a relatively short ride, 40km, my ride was split into 10-15 different segments due to this issue.

@smarthalo we used our smarthalo 2 for less than a month but now it's not connecting anymore. The app kept saying it's connecting but no connection can be made. This is pretty frustrating. We have an unused one too. Can we send these back and get refunded?

@smarthalo I got my SmartHalo2 a few days ago and guess what it was raining and the SmartHalo is broken now. It seems to be leaky, because you can see the liquid inside. That really sucks. I hope it is just a production issue with my unit, how do I get a compensation.
