As a father of 7 I am both fascinated and concerned about GPT4o and what's coming next in AI. Using it is amazing, but what should my kids study?
My fourth child at 17 is already a good Python coder. Will he be augmented by AI or compete with AI?
My oldest son at 29 he has a PhD in AI so he is riding the wave, but what about the 12, 11 and 7 year olds? What kind of jobs will be available in 2035?
One hopeful sign I see in this is my own occupation, entrepreneurship. Turning your vision of the future into a biotech company, designing new treatments, hiring teams. It's hard to see how AI would replace me. It certainly helps me.
