Firstly,the name is visibly written as ‘Desiigner Jay-Tee’ not JT!
Secondly,my tweet was not directed to a particular person but well it seems you saw the shoe fitting and you had to wear it.That being said,for starters I didn’t do fashion designing at school or went to college for that at all & I am not ‘self-proclaimed’ but rather I am self-taught and talented at it.
I was one of the best students back in school as well,I had 13 points doing Pure Commercials(Economics,Business Studies & Accounting) hence my tweet stated something about a high IQ to be a good fashion designer.
To address you directly,you started undermining my work on social media with your subliminal comments on different clips and posts. At one point you told Yahya Goodvibes not to speak about ‘tumadesigner twake,there is only 1 fashion designer in Zimbabwe’ yet I am one of her designers as well🙄.You can say it was a joke or just content but it’s not stated anywhere that you didn’t mean that.
You told Magic to call you the best fashion designer in Zimbabwe on an international platform(@IShowSpeedHQ stream) with 50million+ people watching all for content and flexing but reality is you wanted the world to believe that lie and all of us who can actually do this sh*t end up looking like fools to the outside world. Fashion designing is not self-proclaimed but it’s a skill that’s actually attained through practice and perfection,you can’t just wake up calling yourself “The best fashion designer” with nothing to show for it.We outchea busting our butts to feed our families from this fashion designing thing only for you to make it look like a joke on social media!
This is where my bread is buttered so treat it with some respect,you can do that kuMedia uko and you won’t see me saying anything cause you are actually good at it but kuFashion uku don’t.

I follow your work out of respect, but let me make one thing very clear. I am also a self-proclaimed designer. Being a designer does not mean sitting on a sewing machine 24/7. I started fashion and fabrics in Form 2 zvichitomakisa, and out of over 300 students, I consistently came out as one of the best but guess what ndaitonyara kuno collector prize musi we PGD vakadzidza paChelaz can testify.. that’s facts. When I started building this sh*t, I never imagined I would be here arguing on X while people are doing a business I started. I call that grace because if it wasn’t God, I wouldn’t be here. Period. On top of that i have created employment in a short space of time. I work with both elderly and young people who handle the machines while i am out there ndichitsvaga mamwe madhiri, you have been in this clothing business for long you know chibusiness ichi hachifaye everyday. To me that’s called leadership. I classify myself as an entrepreneur. That’s why I run a media company too and just like fashion, you won’t always see me behind a camera or editing on a computer, because I employ talented youth who are great at what they do. That’s how real businesses are built. You could actually learn something from Kanye.
