Why work so hard for so many years to be prevented from being able to stand on the podium if the position was earned. Simply don’t award the Russians, oops “ROC”, their medals but give the moment to the other athletes.

The IOC forcefully answers back: no medal ceremony for the team competition and no medal ceremony if Kamila Valieva finishes in the top three of the women’s event. Fascinating and absolutely the right call. What a fiasco this is, all because of Russian doping.

I’m not sure I’ve ever cried while discussing another skater but today it happened. So emotional to watch the Canadian pairs overcome their demons today. How beautiful it is to which someone overcome adversity.
