society needs to stop perceiving latino and hispanic as races bc not only does it make white latinos/hispanics think they are poc, but also non-white indigenous people from latam get their native identity overshadowed constantly and are instead dumbed down to a colonial label

Esencialmente son lo mismo. Yo soy de -respetamos y usamos el que nos gusta sin deslegitimarnos-

@espantabruiixes La existencia del sancocho y la olla de carne aunque son esencialmente lo mismo no implica que deban deslegitimarse mutuamente o que no puedan coexistir. Para mí tiene más sentido decir “son lo mismo, escojan la etiqueta que les hace sentir más cómodos” y dejamos vivir.
